Donate

Donations are essential to protecting the Sanctuary’s wildlife and restoring this rare pocket of Aotearoa’s natural heritage. Your support directly funds conservation, education, and the ongoing care of our predator-free forest.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference to the Sanctuary now and in the future. All donations of $5 or more are tax deductible.

If you would prefer to make a donation via online banking, money can be paid into the following account. Please make sure we have some way of identifying who the money has come from, ideally, you can email: info@brooksanctuary.org.nz

We’ve started and we mean to go on – so get involved with the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary!

The fence is built, mammalian pests and predators have been eradicated from within the Sanctuary, the flora is regenerating, re-introductions have begun, but there remains much to be done, so there’s no better time to get involved in one way or another with the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary!

Caring for our environment and restoring its natural biodiversity requires support.

Maintaining a Sanctuary of this size (690 hectares) is an ongoing task of some magnitude.

We need to continue developing ways we can share this experience; to identify ways of educating about and interacting with our environment.

Significant funds are required annually for our general operations, both within the Sanctuary and outside it. We also require additional funds each year for new developments. All these funding requirements we raise through grants, sponsorships, donations, supporter subscriptions, and admission/services fees.

We publish a regular supporter newsletter ‘eNews’ (you can view past copies here), we also publish an ‘in-house’ newsletter for volunteers, and have a Facebook page (click here) and an Instagram profile; our newsletters and social media activity frequently demonstrate the many varied ways that people get involved and support the Sanctuary.

There are so many ways you can get involved.
